Area Veterans Advisory Committee

The Killeen Veterans Day Parade is sponsored by the Area Veterans Advisory Committee. Everyone is invited to participate. All veteran organizations are encouraged to participate. Please submit the Registration Form. There is no fee to participate.

The Department of Veterans Affairs recognizes the parade as a regional site to celebrate this day with a parade. Before the start of the parade, the City Mayor will receive a certificate from DVA designating this parade as one of the few selected in the state to honor all who served in the United States Armed Forces.

Participants will assemble on 761st Tank Battalion Avenue (old Ave E) by no later than 10:30 a.m. Guides will help you get in line as you come in from Gilmer Street. Traffic on College Street will be blocked starting at 9:30 a.m. 

Check the attachment for the parade route. Bring your chairs and umbrellas to view and enjoy the parade.
